Meteroa! Where to start, it was undescribable! I left Thessaloniki at 8.30am on the bus to Trikala. At the bus station i met a young man travelling to same route as me who was going back home to visit his family. We got talking and i told him my story and i recieved many comments such as 'You are very brave', 'There are not many people that would be calm like you are' and 'I want to travel but i cant ... it is amazing that you are!' . All of these comments set me off for a really positive and lucky day! I got a lift from Trikala from the young mans father and they tried to help me find a cheap room. In the end i had to beg and offer to work in order to get at least some money off the price of a room in a Hotel. The weather was very cold and the sky was white, with glimpses of snow now and then! After checking in the father and son drove me to the first monastry where i said my goodbyes and thank yous and started my journey to the top. Such a strong relisation that i was in a new place all alone for the first time overwhelmed me. I stood there for a few minutes while i thought about this,
