Where Is Rhian ?
DAY EIGHT-
Well we were up at the crack of dawn to see the sun rise, but we were taken too a lookout where you saw both Uluru and Kata Tjuta which was nice but too far to see any colour changes on the rock. We then went to do the base walk around the rock which takes about two hours. I enjoyed this as i had the great company of Barbara and it helped me to comprihend the sheer size of it. Phew we were cream crackered!
NOTE: It is the worlds largest Monolith, meaning it is a solid rock with NO cracks! And it is on the world heritage list for natural beauty and cultural value! Cool hey?
P.S I would not recomend doing this walk in the middle of summer! I imagine it would just be too hot to enjoy (but then I am English and we all know the English are not used to hot sunny weather!).
