DAY FIVE- Today consisted of alot of driving! And some more driving after that! In the morning we went to Matarenka Thermal Springs, which I was really looking forward to (had had enough of jumping in freezing cold springs and waterfalls) But it didn't feel quite right swimming in warm water, rather like a large bath shared by a large group of people! Strange. At lunch time we stopped at Daly Waters (a tiny obviously inbread town!) The Daly Waters is famous for visitors leaving items and belongins and if you loose at pool that item has to be underwear! So as you can imagine the pub is cluttered with hats / photos / flags / postcards / t-shirts / undies / etc. Outside where we cooked up our lunch was a sign surrounded by flip flops, asking for flip flops for their captive breeding project! Luckily I had not yet desposed of my flip flops which were giving me terrible blisters. So we all signed it and nailed it to the post, see photos. That night we had another great campfire where we had a go at playing the didgeree doo, ate marshmellows on sticks burnt by the fire, drank, sang and slept under the beautiful star filled sky.
