We had the kids up bright and early so we could leave by 6:45am to get to Monkey Mia by 7:45am. We set up camp at Coronation Bay, again right on the beach. It's a National Park camp and only costs $14 a night. It is 25km north of Geraldton. From here we were able to explore the area. One of the must see things in Geraldton is the war memorial dedicated to HMAS Sydney 2. It sits at the top of the city and is a very emotional place visit. On Monday the 18th of May we left Sarah & Sven's house to head to Perth. The weather still wasn't great but it was clearing.
