Cheers from across the pond!
Today was an exciting day, with plenty to do besides go to classes. The weather is a bit cool and the sky has been a lovely dull gray but alas no rain yet! Oh, well I suppose that is how it is then. Anyway, I went to classes today and enjoyed them. Then I headed to Tottenham Court in search of an electronic shop that sold an adapter I could play my Nintendo Ds Lite, with, yeah I love electronics. ..hehe. Anyway, I got a perfect match for it. Not that expensive wither which was really nice. After that I headed to Tesco's and bought some biscuits, for a small lunch/snack time. I went over to Brunswick to chec out a few of the othe stores but I didn't buy anything. I do plan to return with a buddy looking to by some shoes.
And now, I have returned to one of my favorite cafe shops, called London Coffee. It's a quaint coffee shop, where you can sit indoor or outdoors and plug your computer in and still get wireless which of course is a plus. There are a lot of people at the moment, which is fine, because I have my music, which keeps me plenty company.
I can't wait to do some more exploration though. I've been in London for a week and a half now and its funny because I want to chekc out other parts of England like Essex, Liverpool and Notting Hill, to name a few. Of course, while I'm here I must go see a futbal match. I'm a bit partial to Chelsea, but it really doesn't matter who plays. I also plan to go to Scotland, which I have always wanted to do. And I'm going to try to visit Paris and Venice (to practice my French/Italian) and see those infamous, beautiful cities of course.
The culture here is so wonderful. We have culture at home, but I dont' get a chance to experience like I do here everyday. My classes are filled with people from all over the world: From Vietnam, Japan, China,S. Korea, India, Bulgaria, Romaina, Ghana and so many other places its amazing. I love it so much. Oddly enough though, I haven't met that many British people. (lol) And I'm going to have to work on that though.
Oh well!
I'll write more later! ;)
