Cleanliness is a virtue ....... or in my case at the moment ...... a luxury. Marking the journey by recalling the nicest toilets and shower facilities is not quiet what I had in mind. At Long (Somme) we found a creperie after using their facilites my husband forbade us to eat there and it has now become known as the Creeperie as it was all a bit eery. Today we are at Lagny, next stop Eurodisney, for 10E a night we have nice showers across the road and unlimited use of the Wifi and washing machine. How I miss my ensuite.

We are parked up to a lovely (newer) MacGregor. My husband is trying to convince me its not as good as ours as its height affects performance (no sniggers). Therefore their cabin height allows you to standup and has space for a bigger heads (toilets to you non-mariners). I'd be quiet happy with a slower boat where I don't have to manoeuvor myself into the toiletting area. In Epernay our German neighbours had a sauna and washing machine on their boat! We have met a lovely couple from Canada, Phil and Charlene who invited us onto their Cruiser for a drink. It was heaven - no clutter due to their fantastic storage allowance and no sand and breadcrumbs on the floor.

Would I swap Bunny - probably not. We have genuine admiration from the proper boat owners, mariners sailors for making such a brave voyage with limited facilities. We are always welcomed at the Base Nautiques, we use their facilities, chat with the employees.

My next plan is finding somewhere to get rid of my grey highlights! Might sneek across the road later with Mr Swarzkopf.
