Hi y'all!

Just a quick blog to say hi and that we are, as of tomorrow, on our way to the South Island of New Zealand!

After the last blog from Rotorua we had a superb time in the Tongariro National Park witht he 20kms hike!!! Seriously, those of you who know me well, know I'm not so fond of 'hiking' in the true sense, but the Tongariro Alpine Crossing was the highlight of thr trip so far! Absolutely stunning scenery and views but TOTALLY killed me! It's now 4 days hence, and I can still feel it in my calves!

As you may have seen from the photos, we then drove over to Napier, lovely little Art Deco town, but of course we went on a wine tasting tour which was fab. The people were great - even managed to bump into someone we knew from back home - in our group of TEN people! Weird!

We are now in the capital, Wellington, and to my suprise, it's lovely! Had a stonking hot day today, needed the factor 'tipex' (or factor ginger/50) to stop me from burning! Still I look like one big freckle now!

Off on our 4 hour boat ride with the camper to the South Island tomorrow where Abel Tasman National Park beckon along with many other adventures.......
