Sawasdee!!

Just a quick blog update as we have just spent a few days exploring Cambodia, specifically Siem Reap and Angkor Wat, the 8th wonder of the world!

I think it is safe to say that we have enjoyed Cambodia the most so far and have found the country, people, religion, and history nothing less than fascinating! We spent a day wondering through Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, after waking at 4am to see the sunrise over the temple. The most interesting bit was listening to our 28yr old guide tell us of his upbringing during the time of the Khmer Rouge. Really sad but amazing.

We are now back in Bangkok waiting for our connecting flight to Koh Tao to spend a week on a deserted beach. Well someone's gotta do it!

Just to let people know, we had no mobile reception in Cambodia and looks likely we won't have any in Koh Tao just in case we go a bit 'quiet'.
