Hello All

Well I did the Whitsunday trip last weekend and it was amazing. Met some nice people on the sailing boat. As soon as we set off we saw 2 dolphins, which started the trip off really good. Felt a little sea sick the next day though but I was ok. We stopped off at Whitehaven beach and is the best beach I've ever seen (see my pic). The sand was so white and fine and made a noise when you walked on it.

After 2 days and 2 nights on the boat me and 2 friends headed down the Rainbow Beach to go over to Frasher Island. It was a long journey though. 11 hour bus ride from Whitsundays to 1770, where we stayed for the night, then a further 6 hour journey from there to Rainbow beach, but it was worth it.

We headed off to the ferry in our 4x4's over the Fraser Island, set up camp and drove around. We then went back to camp to cook dinner (stir fry) and drank Goon and played drinking games. We then had a 6am start to the day. I woke up on the Saturday morning and took the shovel to find somewhere to go to the loo. As I was looking for somewhere a dingo ran past me with a flip flop in its mouth. I then stopped and walked back to camp (still busting for the loo) and scaring the dingo away with the shovel. I then recognised the flip flop and when I got back to camp one of the girls told me it was Becky's flip flop he had. Me and Christina then went in search for the flip flop and rescued it. It had a few teeth marks but it was ok.

We then visited Indian Head, the shipwreck and fresh water lakes, where we got on rubber rings and took a nice cruise down the lake in it and an Aussie gave us a can of coke with JD in it, which was so refreshing!

The next day we then packed up camp and there was a massive thunder storm that day (just like being back home). The whole group then met up when we got back to the hostel for dinner and to watch the England Rugby game. We met so many nice people on the trip, which was full of Germans and Dutch.

Frasers is by far the best trip I've done so far in Oz.

Tomorrow we are heading to Noosa for 2/3 days, then onto Brisbane, so should be good.

I will do another entry on here next week some time after Brisbane.
