Hey Guys,
Sorry we've left you waiting now we keep u updated on the bush tucker trial. We've just arrived in Melbourne and thought we'd let eveyone see what we've been up to on our first few days away from home.
We arrived in Singapore on Tuesday 27th Nov after a gruelling 12 hour flight, it could have been worse though because we were lucky enough to have a spare seat next to us to spread our white legs (not for long) out and relax.
On arrival we were surprised at how clean and tidy Singapore is, we were informed that there is a chewing gum ban and heavy penalties for dropping litter (why cant the rest of the world be like this?). We stayed in a hostel called The Hangout which was decent for hostel standards, it had free internet which was great for our first few days way from home.
On our first night we went to the esplanade which is beautiful to walk around and full of gorgeous restaurants. We couldn't resist when we seen an amazing seafood restaurant which was very busy and thought we'd treat ourselves on our first night. Luckily the whole meal only came to 20 pounds and was worth every penny.
For the remainder of our 2 days in Singapore we went sightseeing going to the famous Orchard Road, the Botanic Gardens and Little India.
Singapore was a perfect stop over on route to our real adventure in Oz which we our about to begin. It was a real cultural experience, one thing that took us by surprise is that everywhere you look people are exercising and meditating. We would definitely recommend Singapore to travellers as the people are very hospitable and the fast majority speak English.
Anyways we've just arrived in sunny Melbourne now and are of to the beach, we'l be in touch soon with the next installment.
Luv ya
