Hola friends, families & foes,
I'm in another state right now! I just arrived in Oklahoma a couple of hours ago and I just got to my aunt's family home.
I finished my last exams yesterday, packed my bags, handled all of the necessary paperwork, handed in my roomkeys, hugged a million people, said goodbye to a million friends, cried in a bus to Chicago, slept in a hotel in Chicago, woke up today and took a plane to Oklahoma and now here I am.
What a stressful, emotional, hectic, busy, exhausting, sad couple of days it's been. It was really hard to say goodbye to all of my friends from ISU. As I was leaving Normal-Bloomington, sitting in the bus taking me to Chicago, I couldn't help but to cry like a little baby.
I had one of the most life changing experiences the last 5 months I spent at ISU. I learned so much, made some friendships who'll hopefully last for a lifetime, gotten to know so much more about different people and their cultures and the list goes on and on.
It has been an absolute privilege to be a student at Illinois State University. I'll always carry that experience with me and I have no regrets for all of the sacrificies I had to make in order to study there.
Redbirds for life!
I love you all.
