Well today we left Dubai and headed for our final stop Egypt. We landed in Egypt and I was a little disappointed that I could not see the pyramids from the plane but there was a low haze. I figured it was much like "the pyramid's are not out today," but our hotel was right next door and I figured we would be seeing them soon. Nancy and I cleared customs and headed out to meet our tour reps and found out the hotel, the Mena House, was an hour a way. Well that might explain why I can't see them. So off we go seeing the desert on the way to the hotel. En route we talked to our driver and suddenly outside Nancy's side of the car I see a pyramid. Omg! But now it is behind building and we are entering the security gate of the hotel. Yes we have seen two of the three great pyramids by this post and hopefully tomorrow we will be able to see them better. The was a low lying haze and a small wind storm yesterday that lead to low visibility. We had a meet and greet with our guides yesterday and had time to talk with a lot of other travelers during dinner. But tomorrow is an early wake up call, breakfast is at 6:30 am and bus leaves at 8:00 am(reminds me of Fiji) and we will be off to seethe Cairo Museum. I need to get some rest because I can't wait!!!
