Time for a confession.
Many people said before we came that Dan and I would not be able to resist the temptation, and today we finally gave in to our urges.
For over a week now our bottoms have taken a bit of a battering, and we thought they deserved something good, something they would want - so we did it.
And it was good. Not as uncomfortable as you might think. It was messy, it was salty, and I'm not going to lie, a little greasy, but we did it.
We had McDonalds for lunch. Not the sort of McDonalds we are used too, but a McDonalds nonetheless. The Big Mac is replaced with a Chicken Maharajah Burger, but we could handle that - the fries a welcome change from Daal and Tandoori.
Don't judge us. It was a necessary evil to give us hopefully at least a day off from mad dashes to the toilet. It is unsociable.
In other news: today we met up with our friend Jazz, who will making a cameo appearance for a short period on this trip. She will probably travel with us towards Udaipur, but she must return to Delhi for some charity work. She is trying to make herself feel better for her otherwise sin riddled life.
We met her family that she is staying with, who are lovely, and arranged to go to the Taj on Sunday. Seeing the sort of place she is staying in now, she may be in for something of a shock when she sees the digs we select for her!!
So please, wish her luck, and if you're reading this Jazz, (on your high speed broadband connection, unlike the archaic machines I have to put up with) the term hotel is used very loosely by us!
