Ryan, What a great trip! How come, every time you send pictures of yourself, you always have two good looking gals on your arm? I'm assuming the traveling companions you memtioned won't be wrestlers! Charlie (puppy) and I are getting along quite well. I do everything he wants and he considers doing what I want. All my friends love him. Have a great time -enjoy your blogs. Gr Betty

Wow! Great photos from Spain and Portugal. It's so interesting how Europe
has such OLD buildings, castles, etc. and then the ultra modern skyscrapers.
Owen sat on my lap at the computer watching all the photos. He misses you,
but is getting very good treatment here ---- spoiled? Maybe.

Hi Ryan,
We are really enjoying your posts, videos and photos - especially the touristy ones! (The bridges are cool too.) It looks like you are having a great trip. Traveling is a great way to learn about other places, learn about yourself and use up all that extra cash you have laying around - isn't it?
We picked up Grandma Betty's puppy (Charlie) last weekend. He is about the cutest thing on 4 legs. Grandma and Charlie appear to be getting on well.
We will be looking for you at your next adventure, Aunt Sue and gang

Hi Ryan,
Hope you are having a fantastic time. We are glad to see you left Dublin, alive. We have really enjoyed keeping up with your adventures. We are very jealous. Did you call Owen to wish him a Happy Birthday? Finn got a big homemade treat, whip cream, and a new toy (oh, and a massage). Just kidding we actually forgot until the next day. You will be lucky if mom gives Owen back. By the way, who was the girl in the 10 year reunion picture?

Ryan,
I assume Guiness will need to brew an extra barrel of ale thanks to you. Try to make it to the continent before your money runs out as there are some fine brews and Frauleins awaiting your arrival. If you bring one home, make sure she speaks English and tolerates animals.

I can't believe you can write all that on your I-phone. About three sentences is my limit. Yes, I noticed that you were still in Dublin, I just thought you were maybe staying longer with the Andersons. It looks like beautiful countryside. Did you hear about the 6.3 earthquake in Italy, east of Rome? Happened April Monday, April 6th. Bye for now, have fun and be safe. Love, Mom

Awesome updates, Ryan! I'll be able to envy your every move traveling around Europe as I work in the office... so jealous! It looks like you're off to an incredible start. :)

Ryan, Have a great time - sooner or later you will have to face the real world! I know how your Mom is feeling - all my kids took off and wandered around the world when they were your age. The beginning of my grey hair! I would like to know how the weather is over there. It is 34 degrees in Iowa this am. Have fun! Gr betty

Hi Ryan,
Just a quick note on this message board to see how it works. Hope all is going well so far (I think you are still in NYC now). Glad we got you to the airport a little early ----sounds like the earlier flight was much better. Did you get to carry on your backpack? Owen was snoring (loudly) on the way home, got home about midnight. I guess I drive really slow now at night, but there was alot of construction on the way back. Bye for now- be safe and have fun! Love, Mom
