One of my tour books said that the 12 lane (??) round about around the Arc de Triomphe is the only place in Paris where insurance companies split damage costs 50-50 no matter how the accident happened. Another person told me that insurance companies actually have disclaimers that exempt them from paying for any accidents that occur here. It is insane. This picture does not do it justice.
