Waitomo... Not much here but a load of caves.. So yep, a bit of caving... Absailing, climbing, crawling.. The usual things you do in caves.. Just a brief stop here, but a great BBQ too!

Oooh, a smelly city this is.. Not a bad smell, but a sulphur smell.. Check out the Geysers, Mud pools and hot springs.. So much geo-thermal activity here! Also had a great Hangi meal, a traditional NZ dinner. A bit of luge, which is like a little go-kart, but with no engine down hill!.. Great fun!

Mercury Bay.. A quiet little place with not much happening, but we've found a lovely hostel to chill out at!

On the road again.... Yep, out of the city back on the trail!.. Here in the Bay of Islands (Paihia). Lovely place, with loads of islands (144 to be exact). As Im further up North weather is again stinkin hot after being in Auckland. Perfect weather for chilling on the beach and Ive just returned from swimming with dolphins.
