After breakfast we hired the bikes again for the day and went up to the nice beach. Our bums were pretty sore from yesterday when we got on the bikes! This time we knew not to stop for the guy who was trying to wave us down to park near the first beach! We got a drink and sun beds from the restaurant we went to yesterday and relaxed in the sun for a couple of hours. We had lunch at the restaurant which took forever to come! It was even hotter today, perfect day for the beach! We didn't get in the sea though, just enjoyed the last of the sun as we might not have it like this now- it's suppose to get colder up north.
Once it had cooled down we biked back towards town through the rice fields again. We still had our tickets left for the old town attractions so when we got back to town we used them up. We went to an old house and to the museum of ceramics- both which were very riveting! We cycled around town for a while weaving in and out of the streets and having a mess around. We loved having the bikes! We stopped for local food on the street at a vender that had tiny chairs. We were given rice paper, salad, BBQ pork sticks and chilli paste and after the lady showed us how to wrap them, we made our own which was fun. Another type of food we have tried! After cycling around again we found another street vender, the first we have seen actually selling meals so we took full advantage! We both got chicken and rice (with loads of random sauces and spices on) in a takeaway box and took it back to the hotel with us for later. We had eventually found a shop earlier- there really were hardly any shops that just sold food and snacks- so when we found one we bought some pot noodles for tonight and snacks for the bus tomorrow as they didn't have any bakery food.
We clearly didn't want to give the bikes up as we drove about a mile past our hotel without even realising. Naths fault to be honest as he was leading! We ate our takeaway dinner back at our room and chilled out watching TV for the rest of the night. We packed for leaving tomorrow and made sure we were all ready! We could have easily done another night now. On the first day we didn't know why we had booked so many nights but we liked it more with the bikes and loved exploring on them! Time to mentally prepare ourselves though for our longest journey yet with probably the worst company yet. I was preparing for the worst but hoping for the best! It's all fun and games! :)
