Hi Rachel, it sounds as though you are having an incredible time! What an excellent blog you are producing for us all back here in the cold; I'm looking forward to seeing the "after" photograph of the classroom you are painting and learning of the childrens' reactions.
Keep happy - you are doing a marvellous job.

Hi Rachel, Happy New Year! Great to read about your travels, and great to hear that you're having such an amazing time. I'm sure the children really appreciate your support.
Well you are certainly starting 2008 doing something wonderful and fulfilling - good for you! Take care,

Dear Rachel, It sounds as though you are having the time of your life. The children sound wonderful and definitely worth your time, attention and love. And it is so nice that everyone is looking after you so well. I agree with the fellow star spotter, you will definitely have to write a book. I am so enjoying reading your blog entries - you pick out such little precise details to tell us about that it is heartbreaking sometimes!
Lots of love and Happy New Year from us in Munich XX
Craig Madden
Hi Rachel,
If you bump into Brangelina you can tell them that Madonna has sent her aids to look for a Cambodian girl to adopt. You might bump into the Ritchies as well. Wonder if she'll visit the Red Piano for a Tomb Raider cocktail!!!
Love you xx
Fellow Star Spotter
Hi Rach, - so have you spotted Brangelina yet then or what?! I love your pics, you look beamingingly happy over there without your creature comforts, so I'm sure Craig will be pleased to hear that you will return low maintenance ( not that you were high before - oh dear - best change subject!) It's so funny that you have met a fellow Bradfordarian over there & also good to know that you are meeting up on New Year's Day for a few tins of Boddi's ...How will you celebrate New Year's Eve over there, are there any particular traditions? I look forward t reading your next instalment - you do realise you will have to write a book about this when you get back. Love Susan.xxx

Well well, you see, it is necessary to travel several continents away to be allowed to paint walls. My husband told me today that I will only be able to paint the walls in our new house over his dead body. I don't consider this much of a vote of confidence. So I will have to enjoy your wall-painting vicariously, and watch while the German professional wall-painter here does his thang (although I do get to choose the colours HAHAHA!!!). Tschuess!!!

...erm just realised you had answered most of my questions in your blog which I hadn't noticed was already there. Not very au fait with this technology

Dear Rachel!!! Glad you got there ok. Hope it is warmer there than it is here (about minus 5 I think here). Did you enjoy your Christmas in a very different country? What did you do? We are both thinking of you and feeling just a little jealous... Lots of love from Charlotte and Christian
