Rachel's Eurotrip
Just got back from Malaga last night and had to say goodbye to Adam :(
We had a great time in malaga, we stayed at a 4 star hotel in an area called Guadalmar, it wasnt in the city center, but the hotel was cheap and beautiful and right now the ocean. Everyday was clear skys and sunny, but fri and sat there was a lot of wind, but we still got a lot of color but sunday there was no wind and it was SO hot!
We layed by the pool mostly, but for lunch we went to a ¨chiringuito¨which is a restaurant on the beach, it was just outside our hotel. Since malaga is on the coast (med) it is known for its fish, and since its spain they are all fried! Malaga is esp. known for their sardines which we got (they arent like sardines at home, they are bigger like a normal sized fish) I didnt like them. But the other fried fish stuff we got was good, reminded me of charlevoix with all the fish!
We went into the city center one night and it is such a cute town! It was saturday night and in this big square in the middle of the city it was PACKED with 20-somethings drinking and hanging out. I took pics of it, but its really hard to tell how many people were really there, it reminded me of alfalfa here in sevilla which gets packed on the weekend with college kids.
I will hopefully be putting up all of my pictures soon I have a ton!
