Moving away from the city we went to Gumeracha, home to the worlds largest rocking horse. We even found some very rare rocking horse poo. There was also a toy factory and shop which we had a look around. They make some really lovely toys, Sion liked a wooden lawn mower. At the back of the shop there was a small wildlife park. Inside Kangaroos, Goats, Emus, Ducks and Peacocks roamed free.
After lunch we went to the whispering wall, which was a dam built in 1902 as part of the Barossa Valley waterworks. It was the first curved concrete dam of its time, it is 140m across and 32m high. If you stand at one side of the wall and whisper you can be heard clearly on the otherside of the dam. Be careful what you say! We had a nice conversation with some other travellers and were amazed at how clearly we could hear eachother.
