Moving away from the city we went to Gumeracha, home to the worlds largest rocking horse. We even found some very rare rocking horse poo. Wednesday afternoon we drove up to the suburbs of Adelaide and stayed in Brighton, it has a lovely beach. On Thursday we got the train into the city, as recommended by some sword weilding OAPs practising Tai Chi. We spent the next few days driving to the Fleurieu Peninsula. We stopped at Robe, which is a small fishing town specialising in lobsters. There were lots of pretty houses overlooking the harbour and with great views of the sea. Having not seen the sea for a few days we found ourselves in need of the beach and some sea air, so we headed back to the coast. Dubbed the limestone coast by the locals because of the limestone cliffs and many rock formations. We spent four days at the Grampians National Park. The first day we went to see some aboriginal rock art, which was believed to have been painted by children around 40,000 years ago. The Grampians is a huge park, full of forests, mountains, rivers, waterfalls and plenty of walks.
