Hooray! Our post finally arrived. Actually not all of it but we have given up on the rest. We are now in Batemans Bay, where we are trying to sort out our van. It is all a bit confusing, but basically we can't get the WA rego renewed unless we drive all the way to Perth before it runs out, which is in two weeks. So we are getting a NSW one, because that's where we are. We got a green and blue slip yesterday from the garage and an insurance place. Today we are getting our new number plates. Then we think everything will be ok. When our van is sorted we are going to follow the coast down to Melbourne.
Last night we went out for dinner. It was really nice we got all dressed up and went to a place called Startfish Deli. We both had pizza, Rachel had garlic prawns and mango salsa and Sion had mexican with chilli beef, guacamole, sour cream and corn chips on top. They were both yummy scrummy!
Thursday, 17th September, we spent the morning at the RTA getting our shinny new NSW number plates. It all went well and we are now ok for the rest of our trip. In the afternoon we travelled a bit further down the coast and stopped at the beach. The sea was really really blue but still very cold. We went for a little paddle there were a couple of locals who were a bit braver and were surfing. So we stayed and watched them for a bit. We then carried on our way down the coast and stopped for the night at a rest area just off the highway, where we met some more friendly Australians.
