Today we hit the slopes pretty early and it had been graded and subsequently had frozen so it was pretty hard and icey!! And as we skied over it we went dahdahdahdahdahdah.... An our knees rattled but as the slopes were cut up and the sun came out it got softer and more snowy! We had a few practice runs on the small slopes and then up to the real top of the mountain we went to go down a blue grade slope... We had been in the green graded slopes. There were 5 really steep parts which were very scary but at the end of my first run I only fell down 3 times! Score!!! ;) Hayls wasn't so fortunate... ;( and half way down he got tired and wanted something to drink so she got herself to the side and sat down on a tree stump and we continued to the bottom to get her a drink and then ski back down to her... Which we did pretty successfully with Milo speeding ahead and he got there in no time!
We also took a time out after the first big slope to sit down in the snow and take in the view of the huge snowy mountains that surrounded us... And to make snowballs... ;) I threw a few at Milo and managed to ski off without being hit in return! Yes!
At the end of the day we chatted to a south African ski operator who gave us sine wine while Milos played the guitar for a while which was really nice! They also suggested that we go to la roda restaurant for dinner which means wheel in Catalan.
La roda turned out to be a pub and a restaurant that was pretty old... But dinner was delicious. Kat had pate Hayls had soup and salmon and Milo and I had racqulette which is AWESOME! You take little pieces of potatoe meat onions gherkins and put as much as you like onto a little spade. On top of the you lay a slice if cheese and then put it the mini oven to melt and heat up... And then you munch it!!! It's Sooo yummy!!! We all had a really good time making little spadefulls of delicious cheesy food!!
After that it was bedtime!
Buenos noches
