Rachel's Travels...
Left the south island and arrived in Wellington today. Caught the bus at 9am from Nelson to Picton, then the Interislander ferry at 1.30pm from Picton to Wellington. Watched the onboard film which was Bridgit Jones: The Edge of Reason. I hadn't seen it before, although I'd read the book (but couldn't remember much from it except that she ended up in a Thai prision). It was a really funny film, but also very cringeworthy.
Was staying at the YHA in Wellington, which is near Courtney Place (one of the main streets in the centre). Decided to walk to the hostel as I knew my way around Wellington centre. It was only a 15 minute walk, but my pack is so bloody heavy - I was quite tired when I got to the hostel. Didn't do much in the evening, just boring stuff like washing. But whilst talking to a woman in my room I found out that she is the mother of Sararh Wright, a girl I went to school with who was in the same form class as me. It really is a small world.
