We used the Thai government bus service today for the first time. The first bus would take an hour and a half, then transfer to another bus for one hour arriving in Ayutthaya around 4pm. The big plan for today was to ride the railway to the end of the line about 2 hours away then get a bus further north to the "Hell Fire Pass Museum", returning on the bus. The minibus ride went well apart from one family with a puking child and a mother who insisted on waving her arms about supposedly calming the atmosphere!
