Everyone got up early this morning and were having breakfast around 6am. Then the skipper turned on the engines and we started moving. Gina and I fell back asleep and then when the boat had stopped the skipper shouted to us to get up as we were leaving the boat. No one had told us what time we had to get up so we were a bit annoyed when we had to rush to get dressed and get our things together. We didn't even have time to get some breakfast. We had stopped around the Whitsundays Island and were taken on the speed boat to the island. It was around 7.30am and way too early. It was really hot at this time of the morning. We walked to Hill inlet which was a lookout area to see views of Whitehaven Beach. It was amazing and looked so beautiful. Then we walked down to the beach. We had 3 hours here and took loads of photos. It was paradise on earth. The white soft sand and clear blue water was absolutely gorgeous. It was like something you have never come across before. Other people were there from the other boats and we saw Karl the Korean guy that had been in our dorm room in our hostel in Airlie Beach. At 10.30am we got picked up by the skipper in the speed boat and taken back to the Mandrake boat. We carried on sailing and relaxing on deck soaking up the sun. We had lunch which was lasagne and salad. We seem to get fed well on this trip lol. We stopped again for people to do snorkelling and the skipper took me out in the speed boat. I saw a bit of the coral from on top of the water and I saw a turtle as well. Afterwards we did some real sailing as the wind had picked up so we all had to sit on the edge of the boat with our legs dangling over the water as the boat tips to one side. It feels like the boat is going to capsize but it won't. Then we stopped off again at a beach near Hayman Island for a bit. Once we had finished here we found somewhere to stop for the night. We saw a bit of the sunset but then it went behind some clouds so we couldn't see it set in the water. We had roast beef for dinner and then drank goon with everyone until late in the evening. Then Gina and I went to bed on deck sleeping underneath the stars. It was really windy and the boat was rocking from side to side but it was a great experience.
