We had a lie in this morning until 10.30am. Our dorm room is so hot at night that its so hard to get to sleep. All we have in the dorm room is a ceiling fan which does absolutely nothing to cool the dorm room down. After we grabbed some breakfast we decided to chill out by the pool for the rest of the day. It's not very crowded at the pool so its nice and peaceful there to relax. We don't have any major plans to do much here in Byron Bay. Money is running a bit low for us until we find work in Sydney. Byron Bay has a lighthouse that you can go and visit and the hostel does sunrise tours there for $5.00. As the bus has broken down and still not fixed the tours are not running at the moment. Hopefully before we leave Byron Bay the bus will be running again and we can go to the lighthouse. You can walk there but it takes an hour and a half. With the heat we don't want to do this so fingers crossed we can do the sunrise tour soon. After a day sunbathing by the pool we cooked dinner for ourselves. Seems to be noodles all the time at the moment. They are so cheap to buy at the supermarket. For a pack of five lots of noodles it costs $1.05. Bargain. Tasty as well. Then for the rest of the evening we had a swim in the pool and just spent a couple of hours chilling out in there. The pool doesn't close until 10.30pm. It's nice to cool off in the pool before bedtime as its been so hot and humid. Josefine had texted Gina and I to see if we wanted to meet for a drink as her and Cecila were in Byron Bay but the roads are not well lit on the way to town so we decided against it.
