First day on the trail. Our guides are Elistan and Agusto. Great weather (that won't last), great trekking guides, even great food - seriously. And could obviously wax on about the scenery forever ever, but I'll let the photos do that. Instead let me give a quick run down of what happened as we waited for the bus to pick us up from the hotel at 5am... Yennifer let one of the dogs escape. She said "oh look, here comes the dog towards the open gate that I'm standing in. Oh whoops, it just walked past me and is now escaping". She tried beckoning it back but the dog speaks Spanish, and it then just went from door to door pissing on each welcome mat, with Yen uselessly stumbling after it. The dog got rescued by someone else just before the bus came.
