Smashed the living s*** out of my big toe in thongs in the hotel today. Thought it was broken. Blood everywhere. Had to ice and elevate it. Was in real trouble. While I did that, attended to my own bandaging and generally tried to breath through the rolling pain, Jen took off and had a steak at a restaurant.

A couple of hours later we walked/hobbled through antique markets in San Telmo. I was extremely hungry.

Tonite went to a Rivet Plate match. 60,000 screaming fans all singing. No away fans. Really a lot better than in Rio. And River won.
