Loved our time here in Vic Falls. Spent 4 nights here at the campsite, the best showers are down at the pool/bar. Unwrapped our tent to find a stow away frog, smuggled across the border from Zambia, very cute but a little dry after his journey! UK visa now 60$, best to be an Oz or Kiwi round here. Traded many of our unused and overused clothes for millions of wooden curios, now carrying a whole zoo around with us. They are willing to trade pretty much anything, but you need to firm or you´ll get swamped. Had a grand sadza (maizey stuff and beef) and soda from the old train cafe - bargain.
The little aquairum here is worth a visit if you can´t afford any adrenaline activities, we saw a catfish that can eat frogs and birds - crazy! And it can move overland when rainy/puddly, we were a little scared at this point, our own made adrenaline!
Went river rafting down the Zambezi river - 19 rapids, only 1 flip! I´ve now rafted down the world´s biggest commercial rapid, what ever that means.
Sarah got her hair braided with extensions. We played a few spins of the casino wheel in the Kingdon hotel after a mexican to try and lose our money as it´s not worth much, you can buy 900Zim to 1$US on the black market compared to 250Zim officially.
Take a visit to Mama afirca´s for peanut butter rice - delicious! And of course Victoira Falls, a must see.
