A very nice city!! Alot friendlier than other places we have been, there was also more soghts to see and more places to walk to on foot. Although do not try the Lonely Planet reccommended walk because you are certainly going to get lost 15 minutes into it! This is the Victoria memorial in the picture, with lovely gradens surrounding the building. We staed in the Paragon hotel (150INR for room/shared bathroom) and only a few mozzie bites to show for it...

Arrived here from long uncomfortable bus journey from amritsar. Also got slyly groped by the man beside me, which pushed me over the edge with India! I can't imagine what it is like for women travelling alone here. You need to get city link bus from first bus station if you chose to go by local bus. *Breaking News* We have finally lmade it out of Mcleod Ganj without becoming a buddhist monk, a hippie or addicted to cashew nuts!!! Headed off to Amritsar on 5am bus, met a South African lass on route who we then spent the next 24hrs with (Sarah says that is all she could have managed to put up with). Went to St John's Church today. Don't ask me why. Curiousity? About 15/20 min walk out of McLeod via a muddy patch of road but a nice walk all the same.
