Our 'transport' to Nusa Dua arrived right on time. I was excited to get to drive amongst all the motorbikes and cars. I played eyespy and sang songs. The driver likes me because I am always so happy.
When we arrived at Nusa Dua we went through two sets of big gates. There were lots of huge fountains and statues. The roads are much wider with big footpaths and not too many people. Everybody is just relaxing.
The Melia is huge. Everything is big. The lobby is amazing. It has a big pretty picture on the ceiling with all the animals we see in Bali. Mummy says everything is opulent and luxurious. We are very lucky.
It was still early and our room wasn't quite ready so we went for a walk to get a snack and drink. While we were there we saw little animals. I think they are like chipmunks. They climb the trees and eat nuts and fruit. A girl brought one over to me and it climbed all over Mummy and PT. For now I just watched and giggled. By the end of the week I will let it climb on me.
We went to a supermarket that looked a lot like the ones at home but with more different stuff. We got a bit organised. I helped choose some food.
When we got to our room it was very exciting. I rushed upstairs and called out to Mummy to come up. PT went to the balcony to check out the view.
We had a pretty chilled arvo by the pool. PT huggled me tight and took me all around the lagoon pool. He would never let me go. It has islands and bridges. We collected flowers and leaves and visited Mummy every so often who was reading her book. I just relaxed today. I didn't do too much kicking. We explored the resort a bit all afternoon.
We spent some time in our room. Its on the fourth floor and Mummy likes to take the stairs. I figured out where the kids channels are on the big TV, and PT found the sports channels on the upstairs TV, while Mummy got us settled. Then we headed out for an early dinner. It was actually PT's birthday but the whole holiday is like one long birthday party. There is a place just near our hotel which is like a mall in America or Australia. They have every kind of restaurant that you want. Mummy and PT said we would have pizza with pineapple just like I love. It is right next door to our resort but its still a 5min walk because everything is so big in Nusa Dua.
It was such an exciting morning. I love our beautiful stylish room; fully pimping, decked out PT says. I love the big pool with lots of areas I can stand. And I love all the beautiful wide open gardens.
I fell asleep on the way to dinner and that was my day.
Mummy and PT say they had a quick pizza and got me to bed. My pizza is in the fridge for later.
