Saturday : overcast Very happy about the decision to go for a walk yesterday afternoon, because the clouds rolled in over night. Friday : Sunny After a quick breaky and pack up we were on the road and heading to our new destination. We both could of definitely stayed much longer there in Rowen, it was perfect. As usual we took the back streets as close as possible to the English border ignoring the GPS telling us to do a U-turn when possible to get back to the motorway. Thursday : Cloudy then Sunny Had breakfast outside again today, but we didn't stay out there for long, we have a busy day today. We had a few castles to see today, in and on the other side of the national park. So again lots of very nice driving through the park and towns with the mountains towering overhead. two towns were especially nice Bets-y-Coed and Beddgelert and all the castles were in very nice locations too. Wednesday : Sunny Tops day today! Started off with breaky outside in the sun. Then we went for a 10+km hike, which went up the hill behind the hostel. We crossed over stone fences with ladders to pass through lots of hillside farms full of sheep. We stopped at a Neolithic stone burial chamber, on or way to a nice and high lookout point. Tuesday : Overcast with sunny breaks Can you believe it?! The tropical storms continue! Haha! Two days in a row we have woken up to thunder and heavy rain, has to be good luck.
