Thursday - Fine

We were up at 5am today. Which gave us plenty of time to have breakfast, get ready and catch the metro to the bus station.

We got to the bus station and had a short wait before boarding. The trip was good, it took about 5 1/2 hours and the bus was very comfortable and quiet. We drove through stunning desert scenery, there were lots of olive tree farms too. The further south we went, the more mountainous the landscape became, but that didn't slow up the bus because there were heaps of tunnels through the mountains.

Once in Torremolinos we had a 15min walk to our flat in Montemar. It's a nice coastal town with plenty of shops and restaurants. The meal to pick here is definitely seafood or steak. Our flat is on a pedestrian only street, right behind the main beach boardwalk. I can see us swimming everyday for the next 4 nights.

That's pretty much what we did for the rest of the arvo as well. We dropped our bags got changed and went to the beach. The water was nice 24°C.

We spent a few hours at the beach then went looking for a supermarket to get dinner and breakfast. We picked up some tortilla and sangria ingredients as well as milk, wine, cereal, fruit and yummy prawns and stuffed ourselves big time!
