We thought we would be driving till 5 but it turns out we got here at like 2 which is brilliant.

Basically because im leaving on the 14th really early in the morning, I only have the 13th to explore La Paz. However, I am doing a Bike tour on the 13th all day so I really only had this afternoon to walk around. Im pretty lucky I can do the bike ride too - if we hadnt got the extra day in La Paz, the bike tour was set for the 14th and i would have missed it.

Anyway i got everything of mine off trevor as i NEVER have to go on that stupid truck again! Unfortunately somewhere between the free camping just after we crossed into Bolivia (which was the last time I camped too) and today........ the roll mat got lost.

I know Im sorry.

However, this trip has made me see sense. We need to get an air one anyway Kaushal. Theyre more compact and plenty more confortable. If you like ill buy you a horrible foam Eurohike one and stain it so it looks like the one thats gone missing.

Anyway. I sorted out some stuff to do with the payments and we went for an orientation tour of La Paz. Theres basically just markets in every direction. The witches markets were very cool. I did about 2 hours shopping before i really had to come back. Its pretty difficult for me to breathe here and i still havent hydrated properly though im drinking tons of water. Some people have gone to a pub to watch a football match but i just took a nap and then felt like checking the internet as its right next to the Hotel.

Tomorrow we go for "The World´s Most Dangerous Road" by bike. Its booked through the most safe guides that there are. We get kitted out with everything from a balaclava to fluroescents and van follows us the whole way. Our guide will stop every section to make sure people catch up, see if we want any water or to strip any layers. On my way across this continent this was one this I was told by quite a few people was the highlight of their trip. It sounds incredible and i was really disappointed at the idea of not being able to do it.

So I cant wait now!

Tomorrow night we´ll probably have a bit of a send off and then Sophie has booked a cab for me her and Alexi because our check in times are like a half hour apart. Ill just sleep at the airport with them.

Then ill be on my way home!
