So the 10- Feb 2013 has arrived and the journey begins. After stessing about wheher to take a suitcase or backpack with me, I decided to take a backpack. I hope I made the correct decision.

I arrived at Manchester airport at 6.00am and went through security without any problems. The plane took off on time in the manchester rain on time and was a ralaxing flight although I slept most of the way.

I am now at the hotel. Its 23.00 here and its about 17 degrees. The forecast next week is 30 degrees and its winter here! I am now trying to work out what i am going to see and do until I leave for Auckland on Thursday.
