Ok i am writing this like 2 weeks after it says i am, but i have been so busy i haven't had time to write, but i'm doing it now!!!!

I have spent my first week in Australia in Sydney! I have been staying at the wake up hostel, which is centrally located. It's nice, a bit like a hotel and not at all what you would think a hostel being like! The first day i went to see the sydney opera house and bridge, it was a hot day soo it did look like what it does in the pics! It's seriously wierd being here, it doesn't feel real!After perving at the sights i went to see the botanical gardens, being lazy i took this minature train around, we saw gigantic spiders and massive fruit bats, it was just so calm in the middle of a city! Over the next few days i went to an animal sanctuary where i got to stoke a koala and had my pic taken with it, i also saw wild cockatoos and a kookaburra! Another day i spent at this place called darling harbour, it's where the tourists hang out. I met a girl i know from home so we met here and went to the aquarium. We saw a croc, they look ugly as!!! I also took a trip up to the blue mountainswhich were just amazing! They are soo beautiful, we stopped off to see kangeroos in the wild, all being careful as on the bus we were told about what the funnelwebs and snakes venom does to a person. Not nice. We did this humungus hike which took as to the bottom of this massive waterfall, it was pretty, but i was having a heartattck just making sure there was no snakes and spiders around, on the way up, it was so hard going i didn't even get to think which was nice. I got some beautiful pics. On that same day i also took a ride on the steepest railway. It was a bit hairy, i felt like i was going to fall out!

On my remaining days here, i went to bondi beach with some friends, i thought it was ait overrated, and a bit cold. The weather in the last week has had a couple of nice days, a couple of rainy ones and all windy ones!!! On my last day i went to manly beach and just took ferry's that went aroud the harbour. Manly i felt was definatly better than bondi. I was happy to get out of the city, as this wasn't what i wnated from my trip, most people went out all night and slept all day. I was in bed by 12 mostly! x
