Who would have ever thought they would see the day that I went on a hike. Well it happend. Not only was it a hike but a hike in the arctic circle and it was AMAZING. We arrived at about ten in the morning after a three hour bus journey and we then went for the hike. The place was really pretty and thankfully it wasnt raining so that was really good news. It was just so much fun. It was cold but it was ok when you were hiking because you never really felt it so that was good. We had lunch which was sausages over the fire, though it was so so cold when we stopped for lunch. After lunch we were faced with actually a nightmare set of stairs I never thought I would make it to the top but we climbed all the way to the top of the forest. It was such a good day and really nice and Finnish.

We were staying in the most beautiful cottage I have ever seen. I will upload some pictures. We then obviosuly had a much desreved sauna and a massive party.

It was such a nice weekend. And as I always tell my mum and dad as soon as I make enough money I will buy a holiday cottage in the Finnish forest because I think it is just one of the most amazing places on earth.
