Spent today at an orphanage with children that lost parents in the Tsunami/ cannot earn a living due to the disaster. The children were so warm and affectionate it really got to me. On arrival they came running up with flowers they had collected, I was so touched. We did a beach clean with them which they got stuck right into, racing around witg bags to collect litter and showing me how they can catch crabs and make homes for them. We then helped them make a fence for their fish pond and took them to a local waterfall to swim in. The kids needed lots of hugs and thrived in the attention. They sang us this song about the orphange and how it helps them to survive, it was so sweet. I want to go back there and take them something. The kids share to a room and work to earn their keep. One boy called Um, was literally me 10 years ago. He was so animated, pulling faces and jumping around full of energy. He gave me a picture of him and a notepad to take away. Today has been a real emotional day. Tomorrow is back to the teaching and i'm sure, more cocktails in the evening. Love you all xox
