Oh my budda, I have had the most jam packed, eventful and amazing past fews days. On arrival to Chiang Mai (again by night bus), my friend Natalie managed to fall over and injure her foot just minutes before our 2 day jungle trek was meant to begin. So it was somehow decided the 2 of us would leave the group and go up the mountain on a moped! Possibly the most dangerous but exhilerating experience of my life as we bounced up in shorts and tank tops, no bother with helmets. After a journey where I thought I was going to fall of the cliff and die but laughed the entire way up, we arrived at a tribe family's home in the mountain. We stayed the night on a matress in a home made hut and drank chang beer and played drinking games with the rest of the group. It was so bizzare playing I can see the moon in the spoon with a few English, French, German, Japanease and our Thai trekking leader Yo who we nicknamed monkey. CLimbed back down the mountain today, stopping off in a fabulous waterfall and then went white water rafting which was another Thai 'have your whits about you or you will die' moment. The rapids we went on today would have definately been crossed off in Englands health and safety. Ifyou didn't hold onto the rope- you would fall in. Off to a local reggae bar now owned by a Thai guy we met last night who wanted to seranade me with his guitar. I'm thinking its the blonde hair over here!
