Exciting day.. Hyway 1 up the coast. Almost to our destination in crescent city! Saw some massive trees. Looking forward to hiking amongst the giants tomorrow!

A beautiful site to see

Not much to say about the Grand Canyon...you really just have to see it for yourself! Our first look at the canyon was covered by thick clouds, but rain and sleet moved through quickly and we were able to watch the canyon change as the light faded... We spent the night beside the canyon and had a view as the sun set and when it rose again! Enjoyed a great breakfast and more magnificent views as well as a historic lookout and a Hopi market place. Fab. U. Must. Go....
