ok so last time u heard from me i was in new york or was it boston? anyway i am currently in washington DC seeing the capitol of this crazy country

i had a fantastic time in boston and was brilliant to see grace, you can see why she loves it out here plus here friends were cool too. got to see all the sights in boston - for america they actually have some history and managed to try and get into the baseball thing by going to fenway park the home of the boston red sox, still have no idea how it works but got cought up in it - i mean any excuse for a drink rite?

and to make u all feel that bit better while sat at work i managed to get sunburnt as it was the hottest day on record while i was in boston so just thought id make u all feel that bit better

so after a 10 hour bus journey i made it into washington, and have so far walked what feels like a million miles, have seen?the washington monument, lincon memorial, war memorials, the steps from the exorsist the fbi building (no mulder and scully in sight tho)as well as captol hill and a couple of museums

also managed to meet some more cool people and a girl who i met from new york which was?cool and as u can guess as these people were from australia we did what our countries do best - went to the pub!

so just to say im having a ball out here so far and hope ur all coping without me!

p.s. vickie you would love it here - takes me back to those american studies classes?

ok addition to this blog still being having fun out here managed to go to a few museums ( the holucaust the natural history and air and space museums) and saw some dinosaurs and other random cool stuff as well as the original kermit and r2d2 and c3po - theres like 50 million of them in washington (and thats not even me exagerating) and went on another nite out with a couple of people who i met on a wlaking tour with the hostel (and before u ask i only went as it said there would be a pub at the end of it) and went partying it up in Dc. we ended up in this irish bar adn decided we wnated to go out to a culb so asked the bouncer and he directed us to this club called the black cat - was ok but generally a bit of a dive - altho there were these random people giving out cakes out side as a randomact of cupcake so of course i took a picture! was a really good nite (see pics) and now got the next stage of my trip planned to buffalo so i can see the niagra falls - will keep you posted!
