Another lovely sunny hot lazy day doing not very much but relax by the pool.....but the tranquillity was broken by Alan confirming the sky dive for Saturday 12th, 30 minutes to get to a height of 12,000 ft before hurtling towards the ocean and landing on the beach... hopefully...Because if I land in the shark infested water I won't be pleased.

Sitting out by the pool reading my book was nice & relaxing listening to the tropical sound of the birds was lovely......until the heavens opened & it poured!! Heavy monsoon downpours are common & the weather here is one of extremes massive thunder & lightening storms are not unusual.

I'm woken at 4am by the strangest of dawn chorus'...Caz had warned me that it was loud...but it's the birdsong that is so new and that is all down to the Kookaburra and it sounds like a monkey screaming!! We all had a lazy day, with a little bit of a drive around Springfield to get my bearings & a pub lunch...which is not a very Ozzy thing to do but we all fancied a nice glass of wine in the sunshine.

Survived the 12 hour flight with surprising ease. Great plane, great food & great service all that was missing was an eye mask. So the time was passed with 3 films, 2 books, the trashy Sunday papers as per Caroline's request, 3 hours sleep & a nice glass of Chardonnay or two!!. Amazed given the size of the plane, it ever got off the ground; I've never had to walk up hill to board a plane before, that Airbus A380 is one big baby !!... Walking along the U...
