Got up early, repacked my clothes, secured Tampa's dog seat in the front and we were off! As you can see by the picture,Tampa was very pleased to be just sitting there watching the scenery go by. I love driving towards the Sister's area. It's so beautiful. Stopped by Detroit Lake to walk around with Tampa. Then, drove on to Camp Sherman to stay two nights in the cabin before heading towards Eastern Oregon tomorrow. I am hoping to make it to the Tetons - alt...

My friend, Teli, flew with me down to visit with my Mom in California. We had such a great time. Teli is such a joy and she was fascinated with Mom's stories - and Mom was thrilled to have someone to tell them to!! First night we decided to go out to eat in the small town she lives in. Big mistake. There does not seem to be a decent restaurant around. I ordered a fried pork chop which tasted exactly like liver... even same consistency. Tried to feed to cat...

Got everything out. Adding, getting rid of those things not needed with just one person and a dog. Set the tent up and it looks great. Cleaned my fishing line for flyfishing. Got a lot done for one day. Need a special size battery for my 'ears' when shooting so the shots don't cause deafness. This will be just Tampa and I. Denny had to work and couldn't go. Bummer.
