Hi Stef
Happy Birthday from the Cowley's!! Hope you have had a fantastic day and celebrated in style as usual!
Brilliant reading your journal, what an amazing four weeks you have had, and so many different aspects to medicine. How wonderful to be able to help those children and get them quickly to where they need to go.
I was back at school today doing the year 7 ICT inductions. Everything went smoothly so I was pleased. Same again tomorrow and we are having a prize giving that the parents are coming to that I hope will get into the local paper. Staff inset days Wednesday to Friday and then the girls are back on the 11th - can't believe how quickly the summer has gone.
Took Tash to see Woman in Black on Saturday which was amazing! She had spent the day doing a workshop at RADA which she really enjoyed and I met her afterwards. We went for a meal In Covent Garden then on to the theatre.
Ben is out most of the time as usual! He is hoping to go off at the end of the week to visit friends around the country from Southampton to Birmingham to London - he still has 3 weeks until he goes back. He spent Saturday with Darren and stayed the night - got completely drunk and was very ill!!
Uncle Simon is ok - managed to get the bike out on Sunday as the weather was quite nice.
Lots & lots of love to you on your special day. Miss you and look forward to seeing you at the end of October.

Time flies when you are having fun!
Your time in sydney is coming to a close and now its time for Fiji, who said being a student was hard work!?! Only joking! What an amazing experience - you have done so much in a short space of time and i am sure that your work with children has been interesting, rewarding and heart-warming. I dont know how you do it - i would be an emotional wreck!!!!
So, any dishy doctors or are you holding out for fiji!?!
Enjoy your birthday, how many people can say they had their birthday NIGHT OUT in Sydney (Apart from Australians of course!)
Enjoy your rest and relaxation before moving onto Fiji and remember to be aware of sharks!!!(Sean's comment!?!)
Take care,

Hey Steffie -
Lost your Sta address doh - but I've caught up today (at work!!!) Glad everythings going ok & You're nearly at the end of the Aussie bit! Hope you get on the Choppers (not in that way filthy) soon. England is s*** - I'm more jealous than a particularly fat american just out of arms reach of an assortment of Meats. By the way Portugal was fun and I'm now fluent...
in frantically waving my arms around whilst talking slowly and VERY LOUDLY to Portuguese people, in a strange accent. Keep the news & photo's coming. Remember you have to have a mousse-ive night out when leaving Austrailia and then drunkenly remind them who is the current owner of a tiny little urn... and then leave!
take care Tom
