Hey everyone! At the airport waiting for my flight to Honiara and thought i'd give an update as need to keep awake! Well had a lovely weekend in Hunter Valley wine tasting - way too much gorgeous wine and gormet food for one so poor but hey, the princess in me loved it! Left for Fiji yesteday following very long waits at Sydney airport. Everywhere I turned people seemed to want to tell me about their view on terrorism. Was seated next to a Canadian maths teacher on the plane, who i'm sure was lovely but I couldnt handle anyone else giving me their view on life! Should have known I was feeling stressed as then proceeded to obsess about my tooth falling out for about half the plane journey... Arrived in Fiji at 8pm and got to my hotel about and hour later after the longest wait in baggage claim ever! Had one of my little panics and pictured myself with just one outfit for the next two months in Honiara. Room at the Nadi Skylodge hotel was ahem..interesting. Apparently they had upgraded me, so I dread to think what the first room was like! It was fine, but basic. Quite few creepy crawleys etc...but generally fairly clean. The air con was the noisest thing ever, so thought i'd get out of my room and explore the hotel. A frog landed on my foot outside and I burst into tears - nice! But managed to get a few hours sleep and my small breakdown is now over. Must get some brekkie before the flight so I can take the biggest malaria tablet ever!
