We drove the remainder of the way to Exmouth this morning. The camping grounds in the Cape Range National Park are so popular that they fill up very early. So in the morning Geoff is getting up at 6am to line up. As one car leaves they let another car in. If he gets in he has an hour and a half to come and get us or else they will give the spot away! So tonight we are staying at a caravan park near the lighthouse just outside the national park. It is blowing a gale here and has been for a couple of days, although still quite warm with the temp in the high 20's. This place has an average of 320 days of sunshine a year! We went to the beach this afternoon although it was a bit blowy. Unfortunately we are too late in the season for the whale sharks and too early for the turtle nesting, but we did see some whales frolicking out in the ocean and saw a nice sunset over the water.
