Off to the waterpark today. We have been really impressed with the facilities in Darwin. Here we were in this awesome waterpark complete with slides, water play equipment, picnic facilities and it's all free (Geoff loved that part) and to top it off there was hardly anyone there (apparently too cold for the locals). To us it seems like the Darwin government try very hard to make Darwin a great place to live. There are new schools, parks and shopping centers on every corner.
After that we went to the Darwin museum where we learnt a lot more about crocodiles and cyclone Tracey in 1974.
Then it was off to Mindil markets again where Benjie bought a boomerang which he is very excited about - he is going to catch some bush tucker for us. Another beautiful sunset and then home for a delicious dinner - Polly and Iain cooked scallops and prawns with chilli and coriander followed by San Choy bow and finished off with chocolate and strawberry spring rolls with mandarin and berry sauce - yummo.
