Our last day in Munich. Its been so nice being in one place for so long, makes it feel like a holiday :) We went to Dachu concentration camp today, was the 1st one opened. Wasnt very nice, found this one more upsetting than Auschwitz.

Rained alllllll day :( So we went and had a nosey around the shopping centre. We were good girls though and resisted spending any money. Just been for a lovely curry! And decided on a new career path, me and liz are going to be authors. 1st book; forbidden mango!

Had the most amazing day at the Oktoberfest! Shame i dont like beer because everyone was having a great time! Me and liz made do with some rides and chocolate strawberries :) The atmosphere was amazing and there were so many tents full of people. Apparently 6 million people come for this festival over 2 weeks. We said we want to come back! I really wish we had something like this back home. Was so nice to see all the families dressed up. Everyone joined in!

Went on a day trip today to Ludwigs castle. Was incredible, was on the top of a mountain and looked more like a fairytale castle! Inside was a boys dream, he had an indoor cave! A theatre, a indoor grotto and loads of other wacky things. It took 17 years to build and they only finished 1/3 of the castle. Shame about the weather, the views would have been amazing if the sky was clear!

Gave in and brought coats! Its so cold here :( Had a lazy day just wondered around the town, can definately tell its nearly home time!
