We walked across the Brooklyn Bridge from Manhattan to Brooklyn and back. We shared our walk with 1000's of women in the Breast Cancer walk. There was a sea of pink and hope to find a cure for cancer. We had a view of the Chrysler Building, Empire State and our first glipse of the lovely lady in the harbour, known to all as the Statue of Liberty:) Danny went Vans shopping and I picked up a few things for our beautiful children. We caught 3 trains on the subway and it wasn't scary or daunting. This is a great way to conserve money in NYC.
